We provided the design engineering for the Clinical Services Wing at UTMB Galveston. The pharmacy in the CSW did not meet the requirements of the United States Pharmacopeia guidelines and required upgrades.

The team provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing design to upgrade the pharmacy to include IV/HD compounding areas, stage areas, and anteroom to meet the USP 797/800 standards.

The mechanical team re-designed the HVAC systems to include AHU adjustments, and upgrades to accommodate the code. Electrical systems included the design of normal power and emergency power circuiting and powering of the lighting systems. Modifications to the plumbing systems were based on the existing architectural design and included hot and cold water piping, sanitary and vent.
