Infinity MEP Consultants provided the Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing design for the Derrick Equipment – Expansion Project located in Houston, Texas. Derrick Equipment has been providing innovative technology solutions for the mining and industrial markets since 1951. In the late 1970’s, Derrick expanded their services to include products for the oil and gas and civil construction industries as well. Our team was thrilled to provide design and construction administration services for this diverse expansion project.

The expansion of their Houston offices and warehouse consisted of a 5,800 SF engine test warehouse, a 705 SF testing laboratory, 6,220 SF of office/conference areas, and a 3,000 SF fitness center. Our team worked with the architect and owner to ensure that the MEP designs appropriately met the needs of the various facility areas. One significant project feature was all equipment was provided with electrical backup power via a natural gas generator.
