UT Health Center for Oral Health Care & Research
San Antonio, TX
At the Center for Oral Health Care (COHC) located at the University of Texas Health, San Antonio, a new Special Needs Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) was needed as an addition to the medical facility. The project included repurposing existing operatories for use by special needs clients. The concept envisioned by executive leadership is that of a combined waiting room which serves both ASC and operatories. The existing dental clinical research area was converted into an ambulatory surgical suite for special needs patients with two new operating rooms. Infinity MEP+S provided design services for the project, using the existing MEP infrastructure, and providing additional MEP systems and equipment as needed.
