Our team provided MEP design for the Service Wire manufacturing and warehouse facility renovations in Houston, Texas alongside Powers Brown Architecture. The facility is comprised of manufacturing space, warehouse with high-piled storage, and administration areas. Our team worked together to provide fully integrated and creative design solutions to help Service Wire to continue fulfilling their customer commitment to producing quality American-made products.

In an effort to manufacture wire in a more sustainable way, our team designed a water reclamation system that allowed for water filtration and re-use. The project site also maintains rainwater harvesting. The mechanical team’s designs incorporated a process cooling system, air rotation units, and High-Volume Low Speed (HVLS) fans. The electrical systems included 12,000 AMP electrical, a natural gas emergency generator, power factor correction, and cable tray design to serve the facility. We also were able to provide fire pump design with air compressors and process chilled water with cooling towers.
